Symposium “Russian Avant-Garde: Original and Fake” 5-7 November at Museum Ludwig

We are delighted to announce our support for the digital conference “Russian Avant-Garde: Original and Fake” that will take place on 5-7 November 2020 at Museum Ludwig in Cologne, Germany, in conjunction with the exhibition “Russian Avant-Garde at the Museum Ludwig: Original and Fake Questions, Research, Explanations”. Experts from across the world will discuss the pertinent questions of mass faking in Russian Avant-Garde art, and sessions will be moderated by Dr. Konstantin Akinsha, one of our Trustees.

Dr. Jilleen Nadolny, Art Analysis and Research, London will present the findings of the analysis of Mikhail Larionov and Natalia Goncharova works from the collection of Museum Ludwig that was carried out in 2018 and supported by our grant.

This conference as well as the exhibition are breaking grounds in raising awareness of the situation with the Russian Avant-Garde art market.
